Josh and Qiana Rickabaugh Rich founded Portland design firm Quoin Design in 2001. We shine in the arenas of branding, print and web. Good design builds trust with clients and gets your audience excited about your message.

We’re brand designers. That means that we create new ways to communicate your difference and passion to your audience in a cohesive, professional way. Our work lets people know that you take the time to get the details right.

Once the logo is set, we apply the new brand to web, print design, sales materials, social media campaigns, and much more.

While Quoin designs completely new brands, we also revamp existing ones. We take your current brand and run with it to create new experiences for your clients.

Logos and web sites live and die on first impressions. Users judge you by your design before they pick up the phone or even click a single link in your site.

We come in at the moment of trust.

Joshua Rickabaugh Rich, Quoin Co-FounderJoshua Rickabaugh Rich

At the age of 4, when other kids had lemonade stands, Josh sold his sculptures on the curb.

An Oregonian since age 8, Josh graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. He also received a pile of fantastic work experience. He helped build several early web sites for the OSU University of Engineering and the Office of Development. Then, Josh moved on to in-house design with a manufacturing firm before founding Quoin, a Portland design firm, in 2001.

Josh is a father, past chair of Relay Resources, and a guitar player in his spare time.
