Portland market strategist Rich Bruer asked us what Quoin could do to help improve his site’s legibility and update its look. We extended his existing brand and incorporated the font Futura Light as a web font. This improved the web site design’s faithfulness to the brand, while maintaining excellent search engine optimization.

Quoin installed a brand new custom theme over his existing WordPress site, which meant no search engine results were harmed in the making of this design. New features included custom menus, thumbnail images and clear calls to action that improve conversions (that’s sales, folks). Quoin also carefully considered his social media strategy throughout the design process.

Lechman-Su and Quach, P.C. asked Quoin to create a web site with the twin goals of garnering new local business for their family law practice while increasing and extending their reputation as guardians of minors from overseas. We needed to give the site an open, friendly feeling that helped users see how good they were with helping children and understanding their needs. We also worked to show how they partnered with attorneys in other countries to navigate complex adoption and family law.

Town Center eSuites asked Quoin to extend the brand we had created to let new tenants know about the central Wilsonville location of their Class A office space. We performed graphic design of the site’s visuals that carried the brand forward and made dynamic use of their images.

Fifth Season Landscape Design is spearheaded by Chauncey Freeman. A recent graduate of the University of Oregon, he has been making ripples in Oregon’s landscape since he was 12.

We created a custom web site design that is simple, easy to navigate and gives a spectacular showcase for his work. It’s also easy to maintain: Text pages are managed through the WordPress dashboard. Photos are managed on Flickr. We pull them through via the Flickr API, along with photo sets, titles, descriptions and other data.

ywca clark county had outgrown their old web site and needed a complete redesign. The new site stays on brand while giving this nonprofit tools to manage all of their content, including classes and events, volunteers and donations, and downloads such as newsletters and PDF forms.
It dynamically adds to the brand by drawing on the new look Quoin began with their print materials, yet expanding to encompass the needs of the web user.

Portland Medical Imaging came to Quoin with a need for a big face-lift of their existing site. Their focus on comfort and compassion for their patients wasn’t being reflected in their current site. Because Quoin focuses its medical web design on the people medicine heals, we gave them a warm and inviting look that was focused on people, not medical machinery. To serve them, we also built a secure jobs listing area with an online application. We embedded a welcome video into the home page, and showcased testimonials from their enthusiastic patients.

MinimalistPlus is a start-up green builder with revolutionary ideas about how quality building gets done. The founder is Jeff Lightfoot, who has 30+ years of experience in construction and remodeling. Michelle Jeresek, the designer, had two homes in the 2010 Build It Green! home tour and one in the 2010 Street of Dreams tour, all three built with sustainability as a primary goal.
Quoin was brought in to jump-start their marketing materials. We hired a fantastic writer (Todd Schwarz http://amalgamatedschwartz.com) who crafted pitch-perfect copy. Then we expanded on the identity we’d already begun with this brochure.

This web design for a Portland, Oregon-based gallery draws directly on the logo created. The client wanted to give a sense of her space and the location of her gallery, on Portland’s South Waterfront, as well as the easy access to mass transit. You can also see the gallery’s logo, flier and business card.
