Radiology Specialists of the Northwest

Radiology Specialists of the Northwest is a group of radiologists that works with Providence Hospital in the Southeast part of Portland, OR. They wanted to draw young, vibrant talent with excellent credentials to the Northwest from around the country. To do this, they wanted to demonstrate Portland’s wealth of cultural and recreational opportunities. This called for a modern, hip design, while also maintaining a professional presence.

The natural wood grain represents Oregon, and by cutting it away, we see inside of the wood, as if in an x-ray. The hand-drawn, semi-circular shapes of the letters evoke the MRI and CT imaging machines they work with.
